Bernard A. Silverman MD is a board certified Allergist / Immunologist with specializing in Pediatrics where children of all ages that are suffering with Allergies can receive a proper and thorough care. Dr. Silverman has over 30 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research, and numerous publications in major peer reviewed journals.
In addition to treating patients of all ages for various allergies and proving immunology for several decades, Dr. Silverman held such prestigious positions as Director in Research and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement of the Long Island College Hospital Allergy & Immunology training program for 25 years and served there as clinical faculty until it closed in May 2014. He is presently Asst. Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at Mt. Sinai and Downstate.
Dr. Silverman holds an MPH in Maternal and Child Health from Columbia University and serves on the AAAAI Rhinitis and Ocular Disease Committee. He frequently speaks on topics related to his original clinical research at international meetings and has served as a medical education speaker for many organizations.
